At Continuum Hospice of Washington, we understand the journey through grief. Our dedicated team offers comprehensive bereavement support for up to 13 months after your loved one’s passing, helping you navigate this challenging time with care and understanding. All services are provided free of charge to anyone who experienced a recent loss and is seeking support.

Meet Our Compassionate Bereavement Team

Megan Jones, MSW, LSWAIC

Megan Jones is the Manager of Continuum Care’s Breavement Department. As a compassionate clinical social worker specializing in grief counseling, Megan brings extensive experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging transitions. Her background in hospice care has equipped her with a deep understanding of end-of-life support and bereavement needs. Drawing on evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques, Megan creates a safe, empathetic space for clients to process their grief. She works with individuals, families, and groups, tailoring her approach to each client’s unique journey toward healing. With a robust network of resources and a commitment to emotional wellbeing, Megan guides clients through loss with understanding and hope. Her practice focuses on developing healthy coping strategies while honoring each person’s individual experience with grief.

Pete Munson, CPE

Pete Munson is an experienced grief counselor with over 6 years serving in pastoral care and grief counseling. A Seminary graduate, Pete completed Clinical Pastoral Education, giving him deep expertise in the emotional and spiritual needs of those navigating loss. Throughout his career, Pete has supported individuals and families facing difficult transitions as a minister, hospice chaplain, and grief counselor. He has led grief seminars, support groups, and staff support, and officiated many funerals and celebrations of life. Pete’s approach combines professional knowledge, empathy, and spiritual care to help others heal and find peace in their grief journey.
